Hillel Council of New England Supporting & Connecting Jewish Life Across Campuses

Wheaton College Hillel

Wheaton College Hillel provides both Jewish and non-Jewish students with opportunities to explore the richness of Jewish life, celebrations, spirituality and service. The Hillel Advisor, Jacob Freedman and student board members provide a welcoming place for students to enjoy programming, lectures and celebrate Jewish holidays together. Hillel sponsors Shabbat dinners and traditional meals for holidays. Some of our annual events include High Holiday services and meals, a Hanukkah Party, Latke - hamentashen baking, a Purim celebration, a Passover Seder and bagel brunches. Hillel students and staff meet weekly in the Cole Memorial Chapel basement and work in partnership with the Center of Religious and Spiritual Life. Hillel hosts many of its programs at the Jewish Life House as well.
